महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-45, verse-20

स निवासोऽभवद्विप्र विष्णोर्जिष्णोस्तथैव च ।
यतः प्रववृते गङ्गा सिद्धचारणसेविता ॥२०॥

20. sa nivāso'bhavadvipra viṣṇorjiṣṇostathaiva ca ,
yataḥ pravavṛte gaṅgā siddhacāraṇasevitā.

20. saḥ nivāsaḥ abhavat vipra viṣṇoḥ jiṣṇoḥ tathā
eva ca yataḥ pravavṛte gaṅgā siddhacāraṇasevitā

20. O Brahmin, that was the abode of Viṣṇu and Jiṣṇu (Arjuna), and it was from there that the Gaṅgā, frequented by Siddhas and Cāraṇas, flowed forth.

20. הוא היה, הו בְּרַהְמִין, משכנם של וִישְׁנוּ (נָארָאיַנַה) ושל ג׳ִישְׁנוּ (אַרְג׳וּנַה), ומשם זרמה גַנְגָה, ששרתו אותה הסִידְּהַא והצ׳ָארַנַה.
