महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-45, verse-17

अहो नैनं भवान्वेत्ति पुराणमृषिसत्तमम् ।
शृणु मे वदतो ब्रह्मन्योऽयं यच्चास्य कारणम् ॥१७॥
17. aho nainaṁ bhavānvetti purāṇamṛṣisattamam ,
śṛṇu me vadato brahmanyo'yaṁ yaccāsya kāraṇam.
17. aho na enam bhavān vetti purāṇam ṛṣisattamam
śṛṇu me vadataḥ brahman yaḥ ayam ca asya kāraṇam
17. Indeed, your honor does not know him, the ancient one, the foremost among sages. O Brahmin, listen to me as I speak of who this one is and what his purpose is.
