महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-43, verse-8

तत्रापश्यन्महानीलं वैजयन्तं महाप्रभम् ।
ध्वजमिन्दीवरश्यामं वंशं कनकभूषणम् ॥८॥
8. tatrāpaśyanmahānīlaṁ vaijayantaṁ mahāprabham ,
dhvajamindīvaraśyāmaṁ vaṁśaṁ kanakabhūṣaṇam.

dhvajam indīvaraśyāmam vaṃśam kanakabhūṣaṇam
8. There he saw the great blue banner named Vaijayanta, which had a magnificent radiance and was dark like a blue lotus, its pole adorned with gold.
