महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-29, verse-12

न चैनं भर्तृपूजाभिः पूजयन्ति कदाचन ।
अवज्ञानं हि लोकेऽस्मिन्मरणादपि गर्हितम् ॥१२॥
12. na cainaṁ bhartṛpūjābhiḥ pūjayanti kadācana ,
avajñānaṁ hi loke'sminmaraṇādapi garhitam.
12. na ca enam bhartṛpūjābhiḥ pūjayanti kadācana
avajñānam hi loke asmin maraṇāt api garhitam
12. And they never honor him with reverence for their master. For indeed, in this world, disrespect is condemned even more than death.
