महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-19, verse-14

तथा स्त्रियं वै यो हन्ति वृद्धं बालं तथैव च ।
विरथं विप्रकीर्णं च भग्नशस्त्रायुधं तथा ॥१४॥
14. tathā striyaṁ vai yo hanti vṛddhaṁ bālaṁ tathaiva ca ,
virathaṁ viprakīrṇaṁ ca bhagnaśastrāyudhaṁ tathā.
14. tathā striyam vai yaḥ hanti vṛddham bālam tathā eva
ca viratham viprakīrṇam ca bhagnaśastrāyudham tathā
14. Likewise, (no one born in the Vṛṣṇi lineage is one) who kills a woman, an old person, a child, one who is dismounted from their chariot, one who is dispersed (from their ranks), or one whose weapons and armor are broken.
