महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-86, verse-13

ददृशुः कृत्तिकास्तं तु बालं वह्निसमद्युतिम् ।
जातस्नेहाश्च सौहार्दात्पुपुषुः स्तन्यविस्रवैः ॥१३॥
13. dadṛśuḥ kṛttikāstaṁ tu bālaṁ vahnisamadyutim ,
jātasnehāśca sauhārdātpupuṣuḥ stanyavisravaiḥ.

jātasnehāḥ ca sauhārdāt pupuṣuḥ stanyavisravaiḥ
13. tu kṛttikāḥ jātasnehāḥ ca sauhārdāt tam
vahnisamadyutim bālam dadṛśuḥ stanyavisravaiḥ pupuṣuḥ
13. Indeed, the Kṛttikās saw that child, who possessed a radiance like fire. Having developed affection and out of kindness, they nourished him with the flow of their breast milk.
