(Such a powerful invader) should be gone forth to meet (pratyudgamya) and honored (abhipūjyaḥ syāt); this (etat) here (atra) is well-advised (sumantritam). For (hi) there is truly (na asti) nothing (kiṃcit) more evil (pāpataram) than evil (pāpāt) itself, or more evil than a kingless state (arājakāt).
