महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-67, verse-26

यं च धर्मं चरिष्यन्ति प्रजा राज्ञा सुरक्षिताः ।
चतुर्थं तस्य धर्मस्य त्वत्संस्थं नो भविष्यति ॥२६॥
26. yaṁ ca dharmaṁ cariṣyanti prajā rājñā surakṣitāḥ ,
caturthaṁ tasya dharmasya tvatsaṁsthaṁ no bhaviṣyati.
26. yam ca dharmam cariṣyanti prajāḥ rājñā surakṣitāḥ
caturtham tasya dharmasya tvat-saṃstham naḥ bhaviṣyati
26. rājñā surakṣitāḥ prajāḥ yaṃ ca dharmam cariṣyanti,
tasya dharmasya caturtham tvat-saṃstham naḥ bhaviṣyati
26. And whatever natural law (dharma) the subjects, well-protected by the king, will practice, a fourth part of that natural law (dharma) will be established in you (as merit) and will not be lost to us.
