महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-320, verse-35

स गतिं परमां प्राप्तो दुष्प्रापामजितेन्द्रियैः ।
दैवतैरपि विप्रर्षे तं त्वं किमनुशोचसि ॥३५॥
35. sa gatiṁ paramāṁ prāpto duṣprāpāmajitendriyaiḥ ,
daivatairapi viprarṣe taṁ tvaṁ kimanuśocasi.
35. saḥ gatim paramām prāptaḥ duṣprāpām ajitendriyaiḥ
daivataiḥ api viprarṣe tam tvam kim anuśocasi
35. viprarṣe saḥ paramām duṣprāpām gatim ajitendriyaiḥ
daivataiḥ api prāptaḥ tvam tam kim anuśocasi
35. O sage among brahmins, he has attained the supreme state, which is difficult for even the gods and those who have not controlled their senses to reach. Why do you grieve for him?
