महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-76, verse-16

देवयान्युवाच ।
द्वाभ्यां कन्यासहस्राभ्यां दास्या शर्मिष्ठया सह ।
त्वदधीनास्मि भद्रं ते सखा भर्ता च मे भव ॥१६॥

dvābhyāṁ kanyāsahasrābhyāṁ dāsyā śarmiṣṭhayā saha ,
tvadadhīnāsmi bhadraṁ te sakhā bhartā ca me bhava.
16. devayānī uvāca dvābhyām kanyāsahasrābhyām dāsyā śarmiṣṭhayā
saha tvadadhīnā asmi bhadram te sakhā bhartā ca me bhava
