महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-39, verse-7

भस्मीभूतं ततो वृक्षं पन्नगेन्द्रस्य तेजसा ।
भस्म सर्वं समाहृत्य काश्यपो वाक्यमब्रवीत् ॥७॥
7. bhasmībhūtaṁ tato vṛkṣaṁ pannagendrasya tejasā ,
bhasma sarvaṁ samāhṛtya kāśyapo vākyamabravīt.
7. bhasmībhūtam tataḥ vṛkṣam pannagendrasya tejasā
| bhasma sarvam samāhṛtya kāśyapaḥ vākyam abravīt
7. Then, having gathered all the ashes of the tree, which had been turned to ash by the power of the king of serpents (Takṣaka), Kāśyapa spoke these words.
