महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-39, verse-6

तं दग्ध्वा स नगं नागः काश्यपं पुनरब्रवीत् ।
कुरु यत्नं द्विजश्रेष्ठ जीवयैनं वनस्पतिम् ॥६॥
6. taṁ dagdhvā sa nagaṁ nāgaḥ kāśyapaṁ punarabravīt ,
kuru yatnaṁ dvijaśreṣṭha jīvayainaṁ vanaspatim.
6. tam dagdhvā saḥ nagam nāgaḥ kāśyapam punaḥ abravīt
| kuru yatnam dvijaśreṣṭha jīvaya enam vanaspatim
6. Having burned that tree, the Nāga (Takṣaka) again said to Kāśyapa, "O best among the twice-born, exert yourself; revive this tree!"
