महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-39, verse-17

तक्षक उवाच ।
यावद्धनं प्रार्थयसे तस्माद्राज्ञस्ततोऽधिकम् ।
अहं तेऽद्य प्रदास्यामि निवर्तस्व द्विजोत्तम ॥१७॥
17. takṣaka uvāca ,
yāvaddhanaṁ prārthayase tasmādrājñastato'dhikam ,
ahaṁ te'dya pradāsyāmi nivartasva dvijottama.
17. takṣakaḥ uvāca yāvat dhanaṃ prārthayase tasmāt rājñaḥ
tataḥ adhikam ahaṃ te adya pradāsyāmi nivartasva dvijottama
17. Takṣaka said: "Whatever wealth you seek from that king, I will give you even more than that today. Return, O best of the twice-born!"
