प्रकृतं श्रृणु हे राम तद्ब्रह्माण्डकवाटकम् ।
यत्प्रमाणं ततो वारि बाह्ये दशगुणं स्थितम् ॥ ७ ॥

7. O Rama, listen to the present topic. That cosmic shell (brahmāṇḍa), whose measure it is, has water situated outside it whose extent is ten times its own measure.
