योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-12, verse-32

श्रीराम उवाच ।
अर्धं मिथःसंकथया भागः शास्त्रविचारणैः ।
आत्मप्रत्ययतो भागः कथं तस्या निवर्तते ॥ ३२ ॥

ardhaṃ mithaḥsaṃkathayā bhāgaḥ śāstravicāraṇaiḥ ,
ātmapratyayato bhāgaḥ kathaṃ tasyā nivartate 32
32. śrīrāma uvāca ardham mithaḥ saṃkathayā bhāgaḥ śāstravicāraṇaiḥ
ātmapratyayataḥ bhāgaḥ katham tasyāḥ nivartate

bhāgaḥ śāstravicāraṇaiḥ,

32. Śrī Rāma said: If half (of ignorance) ceases through mutual discussion, a portion through scriptural deliberations, and another portion through self-conviction, then how does her (ignorance) ultimately cease?
