यथावर्तैः पयो भाति धूमो भाति यथा घनः ।
तथा जडात्मकतया तृतीयः सर्ग एतयोः ॥ १६ ॥

16. Just as water appears characterized by whirls, and smoke appears like a dense cloud, similarly, the third creation (sarga) of these two (as examples) exists by virtue of its inert (jaḍa-ātmakatayā) nature.
