योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-111, verse-39

अयं सोऽहमिति व्यर्थं प्रत्ययं त्यज पुत्रक ।
तुच्छं परिमिताकारं दिक्कालविवशीकृतम् ॥ ३९ ॥
ayaṃ so'hamiti vyarthaṃ pratyayaṃ tyaja putraka ,
tucchaṃ parimitākāraṃ dikkālavivaśīkṛtam 39
39. ayam saḥ aham iti vyartham pratyayam tyaja
putraka tuccham parimitākāram dikkālavivaśīkṛtam

39. My dear son, abandon this futile notion 'I am this', which is trivial, of limited form, and subject to space and time.
