श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इत्याकर्ण्य कचो वाक्यं पितुः परमपावनम् ।
सर्वमेव परित्यज्य जगामैकान्तकाननम् ॥ १० ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Having heard these supremely purifying words from his father, Kaca abandoned everything and went to a secluded forest.
