बृहस्पतिरुवाच ।
चित्तं सर्वमिति प्राहुस्तत्त्यक्त्वा पुत्र राजसे ।
चित्तत्यागं विदुः सर्वत्यागं सर्वविदो जनाः ॥ २१ ॥

Bṛhaspati said: Sages declare that consciousness (citta) is everything. Having renounced that, my son, you will be sovereign. People who know everything know the renunciation of consciousness (citta-tyāga) to be the renunciation of all things.
