योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-21, verse-8

आपातरमणीयत्वं कल्पते केवलं स्त्रियाः ।
मन्ये तदपि नास्त्यत्र मुने मोहैककारणम् ॥ ८ ॥
āpātaramaṇīyatvaṃ kalpate kevalaṃ striyāḥ ,
manye tadapi nāstyatra mune mohaikakāraṇam 8

manye tat api na asti atra mune mohaikakāraṇam

8. Superficial charm is merely attributed to a woman. O sage, I believe that even this (superficial charm) is not truly present in her, but rather, she is the sole cause of delusion (moha).
