योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-21, verse-25

इतो मांसमितो रक्तमितोऽस्थीनीति वासरैः ।
ब्रह्मन्कतिपयैरेव याति स्त्री विशरारुताम् ॥ २५ ॥
ito māṃsamito raktamito'sthīnīti vāsaraiḥ ,
brahmankatipayaireva yāti strī viśarārutām 25
25. itaḥ māṃsam itaḥ raktam itaḥ asthīni iti vāsaraiḥ
brahman katipayaiḥ eva yāti strī viśarārutām
25. brahman strī itaḥ māṃsam itaḥ raktam itaḥ asthīni
iti katipayaiḥ vāsaraiḥ eva viśarārutām yāti
25. O Brahman, a woman attains a state of decay in merely a few days, [being composed of] here flesh, here blood, and here bones.
