योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-21, verse-34

शोच्यतां परमां याति तरुणस्तरुणीपरः ।
निबद्धः करिणीलोलो विन्ध्यखाते यथा गजः ॥ ३४ ॥
śocyatāṃ paramāṃ yāti taruṇastaruṇīparaḥ ,
nibaddhaḥ kariṇīlolo vindhyakhāte yathā gajaḥ 34
34. śocyatām paramām yāti taruṇaḥ taruṇīparaḥ |
nibaddhaḥ kariṇīlolaḥ vindhyakhāte yathā gajaḥ ||
34. taruṇaḥ taruṇīparaḥ paramām śocyatām yāti,
yathā kariṇīlolaḥ gajaḥ vindhyakhāte nibaddhaḥ.
34. A young man who is obsessed with young women falls into the utmost misery, just like an elephant, eager for a female elephant, becomes ensnared in a pit in the Vindhya mountains.
