योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-21, verse-21

मन्दुरं च तुरङ्गाणामालानमिव दन्तिनाम् ।
पुंसां मन्त्र इवाहीनां बन्धनं वामलोचना ॥ २१ ॥
manduraṃ ca turaṅgāṇāmālānamiva dantinām ,

21. A charming-eyed woman (vāmalocanā) is a stable for horses, a post for tying elephants, and a mantra for snakes (āhīnām) – indeed, she is a bond for men.
