13. nikumbhilāmasaṃprāptamahutāgniṃ ca yo ripuḥ ,

yaḥ ripuḥ nikumbhilām asaṃprāptam ca ahutāgnim tvām ātatāyinam hanyāt,
saḥ te vadhaḥ.

"O Indrajit (Indraśatru), that enemy who kills you as an aggressor (ātatāyin), before you have reached Nikumbhila and before you have made your fire offerings, will be the cause of your demise." Thus, O King, was the death of that very wise one ordained.
