वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-38, verse-32

प्रायेण गतसत्त्वानां पुरुषाणां गतायुषाम् ।
दृश्यमानेषु वक्त्रेषु परं भवति वैकृतम् ॥३२॥
32. prāyeṇa gatasattvānāṃ puruṣāṇāṃ gatāyuṣām ,
dṛśyamāneṣu vaktreṣu paraṃ bhavati vaikṛtam.

dṛśyamāneṣu vaktreṣu param bhavati vaikṛtam
32. prāyeṇa gata-sattvānām gata-āyuṣām puruṣāṇām dṛśyamāneṣu vaktreṣu param vaikṛtam bhavati.
32. Generally, for men whose strength has departed and whose life has come to an end, a great disfigurement occurs in their visible faces.
