वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-3, verse-14

नेयमन्येन नगरी शक्या धर्षयितुं बलात् ।
रक्षिता रावणबलैरुद्यतायुधधारिभिः ॥१४॥
14. neyamanyena nagarī śakyā dharṣayituṃ balāt ,
rakṣitā rāvaṇabalairudyatāyudhadhāribhiḥ.
14. na iyam anyena nagarī śakyā dharṣayitum balāt
rakṣitā rāvaṇabalaiḥ udyatāyudhadhāribhiḥ
14. iyam nagarī anyena balāt dharṣayitum na śakyā,
(sā hi) rāvaṇabalaiḥ udyatāyudhadhāribhiḥ rakṣitā.
14. This city cannot be attacked by anyone else by force, as it is protected by Rāvaṇa's forces, who bear uplifted weapons.
