वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-58, verse-5

ददर्श पर्णशालां च रहितां सीतया तदा ।
श्रिया विरहितां ध्वस्तां हेमन्ते पद्मिनीमिव ॥५॥
5. dadarśa parṇaśālāṃ ca rahitāṃ sītayā tadā ,
śriyā virahitāṃ dhvastāṃ hemante padminīmiva.

5. Then he saw the leaf-hut (parṇaśālā), deserted by Sita, and appearing ruined and bereft of splendor, like a lotus pond (padminī) in winter.
