वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-1, verse-37

स लब्धमानैर्विनयान्वितैर्नृपैः पुरालयैर्जानपदैश्च मानवैः ।
उपोपविष्टैर्नृपतिर्वृतो बभौ सहस्रचक्षुर्भगवानिवामरैः ॥३७॥
37. sa labdhamānairvinayānvitairnṛpaiḥ purālayairjānapadaiśca mānavaiḥ ,
upopaviṣṭairnṛpatirvṛto babhau sahasracakṣurbhagavānivāmaraiḥ.

37. The king, surrounded by humble kings who had received due honor, and by the city and country folk who were seated around him, shone splendidly, just like the glorious thousand-eyed (Indra) surrounded by the gods.
