वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-1, verse-26

एवं श्रेष्ठैर्गुणैर्युक्तः प्रजानां पार्थिवात्मजः ।
संमतस्त्रिषु लोकेषु वसुधायाः क्षमागुणैः ।
बुद्ध्या बृहस्पतेस्तुल्यो वीर्येणापि शचीपतेः ॥२६॥
26. evaṃ śreṣṭhairguṇairyuktaḥ prajānāṃ pārthivātmajaḥ ,
saṃmatastriṣu lokeṣu vasudhāyāḥ kṣamāguṇaiḥ ,
buddhyā bṛhaspatestulyo vīryeṇāpi śacīpateḥ.
26. evam śreṣṭhaiḥ guṇaiḥ yuktaḥ prajānām
pārthivātmajaḥ saṃmataḥ triṣu lokeṣu
vasudhāyāḥ kṣamāguṇaiḥ buddhyā
bṛhaspateḥ tulyaḥ vīryeṇa api śacīpateḥ
26. evam prajānām pārthivātmajaḥ śreṣṭhaiḥ
guṇaiḥ yuktaḥ triṣu lokeṣu saṃmataḥ
vasudhāyāḥ kṣamāguṇaiḥ buddhyā
bṛhaspateḥ tulyaḥ vīryeṇa api śacīpateḥ
26. Thus, endowed with excellent qualities, the prince (pārthivātmaja) is esteemed in the three worlds. He is like the Earth with its qualities of forbearance. In intellect, he is equal to Bṛhaspati, and in valor, even to Śacīpati (Indra).
