When the Sun (sūrya) is in a trine house (trikoṇa) from the ascendant (lagna), and the lord of the ninth house (bhāgyeśa) is situated in the seventh house, being conjoined with or aspected by Jupiter (guru), the person will be endowed with devotion to his father (pitṛbhakti).
