अथ भाग्यभावं विप्र फलं वक्ष्ये तवाऽग्रतः ।
सबलो भाग्यपे भाग्ये जातो भाग्ययुतो भवेत् ॥१॥

Now, O Brahmin, I shall declare before you the results concerning the house of fortune (bhāgya bhāva). If the lord of the 9th house is strong and situated in the 9th house, one born (under such a configuration) becomes endowed with great fortune.
