19. ṛṣayaḥ ūcu .
rājaputrānurāgaste yadyasyāṃ vaiśyasantatau .
tadastu dharma evaiṣa kiṃ tu nyāyakrameṇa saḥ.

The sages said, "If the prince's affection is for this girl of the Vaiśya lineage, then let this indeed be the right course of action (dharma). However, that (marriage) must proceed according to the proper custom."
