महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-39, verse-34

एवमुक्तो महाराज द्रोणपुत्रः स्मयन्निव ।
युक्तत्वं तच्च संचिन्त्य नोत्तरं किंचिदब्रवीत् ॥३४॥
34. evamukto mahārāja droṇaputraḥ smayanniva ,
yuktatvaṁ tacca saṁcintya nottaraṁ kiṁcidabravīt.
34. evam uktaḥ mahārāja droṇaputraḥ smayan iva
yuktatvam tat ca saṃcintya na uttaram kiṃcit abravīt
34. mahārāja evam uktaḥ droṇaputraḥ smayan iva tat
ca yuktatvam saṃcintya kiṃcit uttaram na abravīt
34. O great king, Drona's son, thus addressed, as if smiling, carefully considered the appropriateness of that statement. He then gave no reply.
