महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-36, verse-33

ततः स विद्धोऽस्त्रविदा मर्मभिद्भिरजिह्मगैः ।
शल्यो राजन्रथोपस्थे निषसाद मुमोह च ॥३३॥
33. tataḥ sa viddho'stravidā marmabhidbhirajihmagaiḥ ,
śalyo rājanrathopasthe niṣasāda mumoha ca.

33. Then, O king, that Śalya, struck by the weapon-expert (Abhimanyu) with straight-flying arrows that pierced vital spots, sank down onto the platform of his chariot and fainted.
