महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-156, verse-6

योगैरपि हता यैस्ते तान्मे शृणु धनंजय ।
अजय्या हि विना योगैर्मृधे ते दैवतैरपि ॥६॥
6. yogairapi hatā yaiste tānme śṛṇu dhanaṁjaya ,
ajayyā hi vinā yogairmṛdhe te daivatairapi.
6. yogaiḥ api hatāḥ yaiḥ te tān me śṛṇu dhanaṃjaya
ajayyāḥ hi vinā yogaiḥ mṛdhe te daivataiḥ api
6. dhanaṃjaya yaiḥ yogaiḥ api hatāḥ te tān me śṛṇu
hi te vinā yogaiḥ mṛdhe daivataiḥ api ajayyāḥ
6. O Dhanañjaya, hear from me about those (warriors) by whom (others) were defeated even with (the help of) strategies (yoga). For, without (proper) strategies (yoga), they (these warriors) are unconquerable even by the gods in battle.
