महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-156, verse-4

ते हि वीरा महात्मानः कृतास्त्रा दृढयोधिनः ।
धार्तराष्ट्रीं चमूं कृत्स्नां रक्षेयुरमरा इव ॥४॥
4. te hi vīrā mahātmānaḥ kṛtāstrā dṛḍhayodhinaḥ ,
dhārtarāṣṭrīṁ camūṁ kṛtsnāṁ rakṣeyuramarā iva.
4. te hi vīrāḥ mahā-ātmānaḥ kṛta-astrāḥ dṛḍha-yodhinaḥ
dhārtarāṣṭrīm camūm kṛtsnām rakṣeyuḥ amarāḥ iva
4. hi te mahā-ātmānaḥ kṛta-astrāḥ dṛḍha-yodhinaḥ vīrāḥ

4. Indeed, those great-souled (mahā-ātman) heroes, skilled in weapons and resolute fighters, would protect the entire army of Dhṛtarāṣṭra as if they were immortals.
