महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-156, verse-22

स चाप्यशक्यः संग्रामे जेतुं सर्वैः सुरासुरैः ।
वधार्थं तस्य जातोऽहमन्येषां च सुरद्विषाम् ॥२२॥
22. sa cāpyaśakyaḥ saṁgrāme jetuṁ sarvaiḥ surāsuraiḥ ,
vadhārthaṁ tasya jāto'hamanyeṣāṁ ca suradviṣām.
22. saḥ ca api aśakyaḥ saṅgrāme jetum sarvaiḥ surāsuraiḥ
vadhārtham tasya jātaḥ aham anyeṣām ca suradviṣām
22. ca saḥ api saṅgrāme sarvaiḥ surāsuraiḥ jetum aśakyaḥ
aham tasya anyeṣām ca suradviṣām vadhārtham jātaḥ
22. And he, indeed, cannot be conquered in battle even by all the gods and demons. I was born for his destruction and for the destruction of other enemies of the gods.
