महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-125, verse-4

सर्वथा हतमेवैतत्कौरवाणां महद्बलम् ।
न ह्यस्य विद्यते त्राता साक्षादपि पुरंदरः ॥४॥
4. sarvathā hatamevaitatkauravāṇāṁ mahadbalam ,
na hyasya vidyate trātā sākṣādapi puraṁdaraḥ.
4. sarvathā hatam eva etat kauravāṇām mahat balam
na hi asya vidyate trātā sākṣāt api purandaraḥ
4. sarvathā etat kauravāṇām mahat balam hatam eva (asti) hi,
asya trātā sākṣāt purandaraḥ api na vidyate.
4. In every way, this great strength (army) of the Kauravas is indeed destroyed. For truly, there is no protector for it, not even Purandara (Indra) himself.
