This intermingling of social classes (varṇasaṅkara) leads only to hell (naraka) for the family destroyers and for the family itself. Indeed, the ancestors of such families fall down (from their celestial abodes), being deprived of the rites of food and water offerings (piṇḍodakakriyā).
