महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-154, verse-6

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
आपद्धर्मार्थकुशलो महाबुद्धिर्युधिष्ठिरः ।
सर्वान्भ्रातॄन्समानीय वासुदेवं च सात्वतम् ।
उवाच वदतां श्रेष्ठः सान्त्वपूर्वमिदं वचः ॥६॥
6. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
āpaddharmārthakuśalo mahābuddhiryudhiṣṭhiraḥ ,
sarvānbhrātṝnsamānīya vāsudevaṁ ca sātvatam ,
uvāca vadatāṁ śreṣṭhaḥ sāntvapūrvamidaṁ vacaḥ.
6. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca āpaddharmārthakuśalaḥ
mahābuddhiḥ yudhiṣṭhiraḥ sarvān bhrātṝn
samānīya vāsudevaṃ ca sātvatam uvāca
vadatām śreṣṭhaḥ sāntvapūrvam idaṃ vacaḥ
6. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca.
mahābuddhiḥ āpaddharmārthakuśalaḥ vadatām śreṣṭhaḥ yudhiṣṭhiraḥ,
sarvān bhrātṝn ca sātvatam vāsudevaṃ samānīya,
idaṃ sāntvapūrvam vacaḥ uvāca.
6. Vaishampayana (vaiśaṃpāyana) said: Yudhishthira (yudhiṣṭhira), the one with great intellect and the best among speakers, who was skilled in the conduct required in times of calamity (āpaddharma) and in matters of practical policy (artha), assembled all his brothers and Vasudeva (vāsudeva) (Krishna), the Satvata, and spoke these conciliatory words.
