महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-154, verse-33

तस्माद्यास्यामि तीर्थानि सरस्वत्या निषेवितुम् ।
न हि शक्ष्यामि कौरव्यान्नश्यमानानुपेक्षितुम् ॥३३॥
33. tasmādyāsyāmi tīrthāni sarasvatyā niṣevitum ,
na hi śakṣyāmi kauravyānnaśyamānānupekṣitum.
33. tasmāt yāsyāmi tīrthāni sarasvatyā niṣevitum
na hi śakṣyāmi kauravyān naśyamānān upekṣitum
33. tasmāt sarasvatyā tīrthāni niṣevitum (aham) yāsyāmi
hi (aham) naśyamānān kauravyān upekṣitum na śakṣyāmi
33. Therefore, I will go to visit the holy places (tīrtha) along the Sarasvatī. For I will not be able to bear seeing the Kauravas perishing.
