महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-133, verse-28

प्राज्ञस्य नृपतेराशु वृद्धिर्भवति पुत्रक ।
अभिवर्तति लक्ष्मीस्तं प्राचीमिव दिवाकरः ॥२८॥

28. O son, a wise king quickly achieves prosperity. Fortune (lakṣmī) comes to him, just as the sun approaches the eastern direction.
