महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-133, verse-23

अमर्षेणैव चाप्यर्था नारब्धव्याः सुबालिशैः ।
सर्वेषां कर्मणां तात फले नित्यमनित्यता ॥२३॥
23. amarṣeṇaiva cāpyarthā nārabdhavyāḥ subāliśaiḥ ,
sarveṣāṁ karmaṇāṁ tāta phale nityamanityatā.

23. O dear one, very foolish people should not undertake matters driven solely by impatience, for there is always impermanence in the results of all actions (karma).
