महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-12, verse-27

शल्य उवाच ।
ततस्तेन तथोक्ते तु प्रीता देवास्तमब्रुवन् ।
ब्रह्मन्साध्विदमुक्तं ते हितं सर्वदिवौकसाम् ।
एवमेतद्द्विजश्रेष्ठ देवी चेयं प्रसाद्यताम् ॥२७॥
27. śalya uvāca ,
tatastena tathokte tu prītā devāstamabruvan ,
brahmansādhvidamuktaṁ te hitaṁ sarvadivaukasām ,
evametaddvijaśreṣṭha devī ceyaṁ prasādyatām.
27. śalyaḥ uvāca tataḥ tena tathā ukte tu
prītāḥ devāḥ tam abruvan brahman sādhu idam
uktam te hitam sarvadivaukasām evam etat
dvijaśreṣṭha devī ca iyam prasādyatām
27. Śalya said: "Then, when he had spoken thus, the pleased gods addressed him: 'O Brāhmaṇa, what you have said is excellent and beneficial to all the inhabitants of heaven. Therefore, O best of the twice-born (dvija), this goddess should indeed be appeased.'"
