महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-12, verse-16

बृहस्पतिरुवाच ।
शरणागतां न त्यजेयमिन्द्राणि मम निश्चितम् ।
धर्मज्ञां धर्मशीलां च न त्यजे त्वामनिन्दिते ॥१६॥
16. bṛhaspatiruvāca ,
śaraṇāgatāṁ na tyajeyamindrāṇi mama niścitam ,
dharmajñāṁ dharmaśīlāṁ ca na tyaje tvāmanindite.
16. bṛhaspatiḥ uvāca | śaraṇāgatām na tyajeyam indrāṇi mama
niścitam | dharmajñām dharmaśīlām ca na tyaje tvām anindite
16. Bṛhaspati said: 'I certainly will not abandon one who has come for refuge (śaraṇāgata), O Indrāṇī. I will not abandon you, O blameless one, for you understand the natural law (dharma) and are of virtuous character (dharmaśīla).'
