अकृताह्निकमेवैनं जिघांसुर्जितकाशिनम् ।
शरैर्जघान संक्रुद्धः कृतसंज्ञोऽथ लक्ष्मणः ॥१७॥

17. Then, Lakṣmaṇa, furious and having received a signal, struck Indrajit—who had not yet performed his morning rituals and was shining with victory—with arrows, desiring to kill him.
