महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-17, verse-17

तस्मिन्विप्रद्रुते क्रूरे शाल्वस्याथ चमूपतौ ।
वेगवान्नाम दैतेयः सुतं मेऽभ्यद्रवद्बली ॥१७॥
17. tasminvipradrute krūre śālvasyātha camūpatau ,
vegavānnāma daiteyaḥ sutaṁ me'bhyadravadbalī.

17. When that cruel commander (camūpati) of Śālva had fled, then a mighty Daitya (demon) named Vegavān rushed towards my son.
