महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-17, verse-12

तस्य बाणमयं वर्षं जाम्बवत्याः सुतो महत् ।
मुमोच भरतश्रेष्ठ यथा वर्षं सहस्रदृक् ॥१२॥
12. tasya bāṇamayaṁ varṣaṁ jāmbavatyāḥ suto mahat ,
mumoca bharataśreṣṭha yathā varṣaṁ sahasradṛk.

12. O best among the Bharatas, Jambavati's son released a tremendous shower of arrows, just as Indra, the thousand-eyed one, sends down rain.
