वङ्गाङ्गविषयाध्यक्षं सहस्राक्षसमं बले ।

9. O Bhishma, praise this Karna, the lord of the Vanga and Anga regions, who is equal to Indra (Sahasrākṣa) in strength, and who wields the mighty bow.

9. שבח, הו בְּהִישְׁמַה, את קַרְנַה הזה, שליט ארצות וַנְגַה ואַנְגַה, השווה בכוחו לבעל אלף העיניים (אִינְדְרַה), מותח הקשת הגדולה.
