महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-41, verse-31

पशुवद्घातनं वा मे दहनं वा कटाग्निना ।
क्रियतां मूर्ध्नि वो न्यस्तं मयेदं सकलं पदम् ॥३१॥
31. paśuvadghātanaṁ vā me dahanaṁ vā kaṭāgninā ,
kriyatāṁ mūrdhni vo nyastaṁ mayedaṁ sakalaṁ padam.
31. paśuvat ghātanam vā me dahanam vā kaṭāgninā kriyatām
mūrdhni vaḥ nyastam mayā idam sakalam padam
31. Whether I am killed like an animal or burned with a fire of dry grass, let it be done. I have placed this entire responsibility on your heads.
